HOW TO CARE

Before using your bag for the first time, it’s important to give it the right protection. The most important step is to apply the Water Repellent Protector spray before first use.

Water repellent protector

  1. Shake the bottle well.  
  2. Test in an inconspicuous area, make sure it doesn’t cause any damage or discolouration.  
  3. Hold the spray bottle about 15 – 20 cm away from the bag. Spray a light, even coat of the protector onto the entire surface of the bag, covering them evenly. If desired, you can apply a second coat of protector spray for added protection.  
  4. Allow the bag to dry completely.  
  5. Brush the suede in one direction. Reapply as needed.

Note: Reapply the water repellent each time after using the cleaner.  

Regular maintenance

Suede is a beautiful but delicate material that requires special care to maintain its rich texture and appearance. Regular maintenance not only keeps it looking fresh but also extends its lifespan. Follow these easy steps to remove dirt and stains and keep your suede looking its best.

Cleaner & Conditioner for dirt and stains

  1. Use a suede brush to gently brush off any dirt or debris.  
  2. Shake the bottle well before usage.  
  3. Test in an inconspicuous area, make sure it doesn’t cause any damage or discolouration. 
  4. Apply a small amount of cleaner to a clean, soft cloth. Gently dab the cloth onto the stained or dirty areas of the suede, working in a circular motion.  
  5. Allow the bag to dry completely.  
  6. Brush the suede in one direction. Repeat if necessary.

If suede gets wet

  1. Pat gently with a clean dry cloth (don’t rub).  
  2. Let it air-dry naturally – never use heat or direct sunlight.  
  3. Once dry, brush gently to restore texture with a suede brush.

Storage

  1. Store properly: keep the bag out of direct sunlight and heat to prevent fading or damage. Store them in a cool, dry place.  
  2. Store the bag in the dustbag.  
  3. Avoid plastic covers (they trap moisture). 
  4. Avoid the washing machine: never put suede in a washing machine, as water can cause irreversible damage and discolouration.
