During our journey with Tende through Argentina, we’ll take you to three unique destinations: Buenos Aires, Salta, and the breathtaking Patagonia. Tende shares her experiences from her first solo trip. For a long time, she felt the need to step out of her comfort zone and explore the world. Despite her doubts, she knew this was something she had to do. Along the way, she not only discovers the stunning sights of the country but also meets inspiring women who impact her journey. 
BUENOS AIRES
Tango in the streets: In the streets of Buenos Aires, Tende meets Willemijn, a Dutch woman who followed her passion for tango all the way to Argentina. This dance, which originated in the late 19th century, is seen here as a way of life deeply rooted in the city’s culture. Together with her dance partner Carlos, Willemijn performs in the streets. For Tende, this is an inspiring moment: like Willemijn, she too left her secure life behind to follow her own path.
Vibrant Milongas: Later in the evening, Tende visits a traditional Milonga, a dance hall where locals gather to socialise. These venues are essential to Buenos Aires' cultural identity, creating a welcoming atmosphere where people come together to share their love for dance. Tende experiences the warmth and belonging of the community, which gives her a better understanding of the social aspects of Argentine culture.
Museo Evita: Tende also visits the Museo Evita, a place that keeps the legacy of Eva Perón alive. In this beautifully restored building, the museum honours Eva's work for women's rights and social reforms. For Tende, this is a powerful moment of reflection on the impact one person can have, and how Eva’s fight for social justice still resonates in Argentine society today.
SALTA
Exceptional wines: In Salta, Tende meets Carla, who left her city life behind to start a vineyard in the Calchaqui Valley, famous for its breathtaking landscapes and top-quality wines. This region produces some of Argentina’s best wines, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Torrontés, and Malbec. Carla’s story of sustainable winemaking and her courage to embrace the unknown deeply moves Tende. Together, they enjoy the exquisite wines and learn more about each other and the local wine culture.
The Calchaqui Valley: Driving through the impressive Calchaqui Valley, Tende feels a strong connection to the landscape and the simplicity of life here. Surrounded by mountains and vineyards, the valley offers stunning views and opportunities to learn about local traditions. PATAGONIA

Known for its glaciers and mountains, this area is famed for its sheer beauty. Here, she meets Emma, who also chose to embrace a simpler way of life. Tende quickly feels at home in the community, helping with various tasks on the ranch. She enjoys the peace and quiet, allowing her to connect more deeply with herself and her surroundings.
Climbing the Perito Moreno Glacier: To wrap up her journey through Argentina, Tende goes on a climb to the iconic Perito Moreno Glacier, one of the few glaciers in the world that is still growing in size. The imposing landscape evokes a sense of awe and reflection. For Tende, this glacier, a symbol of nature, feels like the crowning moment of her trip. It’s a unique experience to get so close to such natural wonders.
