Created together: Five of your favourite breakfast spots in New York

On Instagram, we asked you to share your favourite breakfast spots in New York to help your fellow travellers, and you did! We love to see where you get your freshly baked pancakes when visiting this amazing city. Now it’s time to share them: a list of five of your favourite breakfast spots in NYC. A list that we’ve created together!

Ruby’s Cafe
Ruby’s Cafe is a retro fifties diner, reinvented. It’s cosy and the place to be for a good  ‘brekkie’. They serve breakfast till 4pm, so there’s plenty of time to enjoy their fresh dishes with an Australian culinary influence. From their famous Av Toast to Sweet Corn Fritters or Ricotta Hotcakes. There’s something for everyone at Ruby’s! Check out their Instagram @littleruby to see more of this cosy breakfast spot, which has two locations in NYC: SoHo and East Village.

The Butcher’s Daughter
The Butcher’s Daughter is a plant-based restaurant, cafe, juice bar, and - as they call themselves - “vegetable slaughterhouse.” They treat their fruits and vegetables as a butcher would meat, making them into healthy vegetarian dishes and pressing them into delicious juices. Besides that, they offer many vegan and gluten-free options. And, not to forget:  every single dish is a feast for the eye. From the Mexican Breakfast Bowl to the Coconut Yogurt Parfait; The Butcher’s Daughter has it all. This cosy and Instagram-worthy restaurant has no less than four locations in NYC: two in Williamsburg, one in West Village and one in Nolita. Bread & Butter
This place offers a unique breakfast experience. It’s like a little market that offers a wide selection of foods from American, Italian, Mexican, Japanese and Korean cuisine. It’s ideal for a quick bite or to take away. Nice to know: you can enjoy breakfast here from $2.50! They are famous for their Breakfast Wraps, but they also offer omelettes, pancakes and freshly baked muffins and pastries. Want to see more of Bread & Butter’s extensive menu? Click herePick-A-Bagel
Can you visit The Big Apple without having a authentic New York bagel for breakfast? We don’t think so. This place offers Bagels the New York way - hand rolled and kettle boiled. Here’s how it works: You can choose one of their Classic Twists or you can put together your own bagel with ingredients of your choice. No matter which you choose, with Pick-A-Bagel’s specialty, it’s bound to be tasty. Pick-A-Bagel has two locations, both located in Manhattan. Getting curious? On their website you can find their entire menu.

Two Hands
This cosy cafe with coastal inspired interior, strives to serve nutritious, simple and delicious food paired with exceptional coffee. Their menu is inspired on the Australian forward-thinking culinary scene, which means there’s lots of gluten free options. From croissants to banana bread, and from avocado toast to an acai bowl; Two Hands has it all. Two Hands has no less than four locations in NYC: Nolita, TriBeCa, NoHo and Williamsburg.
